Learn How To Play:
Every journey begins with a single step. Start hiking the Mahjong Trails from South America to Asia. In order to unlock the next layout, you have to clear 70-90% (depending on the continent) of a layout. This way you can travel from one layout to antoher, and from one continent to another continent.
Entering a continent: In order to explore a new continent, you need to get across. Get the ticket with your travel companions.
Rules: Clear all tiles from the board as soon as possible. You remove the tiles by selecting two free tiles of the same kind (if you move across them with your mouse, they will change the color, indicating that they can be selected). A free tile must have at least one longer side unblocked, i.e. left or right, in order to be matched. The shorter sides, i.e. top and bottom, can both be blocked.
Lives
Lives allow you to play Mahjong Trails over and over again. How do you get them?
- You can wait until they refill automatically (but who wants to wait, when it is so much fun to play?)
- Ask your friends for them. Even better, go to each layout High Score board and send them hearts- they need lives to play too. Make them a nice surprise and certainly they'll send you some in return.
- Watch videos and get a free live each time. Don't forget to press "Get your reward"!
- Go to Bazaar and permanently increase the maximum number of lives from 5 to 8!
HINT: You only lose lives when you don't solve a layout, so get motivated: Win at least 1 star on each layout.
Stars
Each layout has 3 stars to achieve. In order to reach the next layout, you need to get at least the first star. But as a true Mahjong master, get 3 stars in each layout to show your friends how good you are.
HINT: Read carefully the bellow section called "Become Faster" to get some hints for achieving all stars easier.
Become Faster
Do you want to become faster?
Use the highlight feature to hide blocked tiles and see only the free ones. This way you can match faster the tiles.
Go to Bazaar and choose backgrounds with better contrast to the tiles of your choice. Higher contrast makes it easier to play, so beating your friends should be easy.
Try to minimize the distance between each click by finding the tile pairs that are close to each other. Plas ahead so that you click on tiles close to where you are with your mouse.
Be social! being the biggest Mahjong on Facebook, chances are high that many of your friends already play pr would like to. Play with them so you can send each other free gifts like extra time. For example, you can receive the Magic Wand, which solves one tile of your choice. No more wasting valuable seconds looking for the matching tiles.
And the most important: practice! Playing over and over, you will get a really good eye for seing the matching pairs. All masters are well known for their patience and focus.

High Score
If what you want is to achieve higher and higher scores, there are some tips:
For every 10 pairs you match, the remaining seconds will turn into a bonus. Match pairs fast to increase your high score.
Play the layouts again to earn coins and beat your high scores. Try different tile sets to see which one is the best for you.
Use the highlight feature to hide the blocked tiles and only see the free ones. This way you only see the ones that bring you points.
The free gifts can help you better solve the layouts. First, you have to send them to your friends, so they will send you some in return. How is this helpful for you? For example you may receive 20 seconds gift, which means more time to match pairs for more points. For more, read the Gifts section.
Choose a tile set in the Bazaar which awards higher points per pair. Some sets are for free! That way you'll be able to beat your friends and become the Mahjong hero.
Hint: high scores help you to level up, which means 1 free coin each time you do it.
Daily Wheel
Spin the Daily Wheel of Fortune and get great features for free.
You can spin it every 24 hours. Sp don't miss your daily chance.
You can get 1 free coin which can be useful to buy your ticket,
extra time, reshuffles, highlight or boost.
The reshuffle bonus from the Daily Wheel will be
very useful the moment where there are no matching tiles.
The extra seconds bonus give you more time to solve the layouts.
Hint: Combine the extra seconds from the Daily Wheel with the bonus from your Weekly Tournament and gifts from friendsto get more time to solve the difficutl layouts.
Hint: Solve the layout until one or two pairs are left.
Then redeem all the extra seconds you have, i.e. gifts from friends or the bonus from Daily Wheel and the Weekly Tournament. When you then solve the last pair, all remaining seconds will be added to your score. Try it and beat your highscore.
